Throughout Colorado deer are in the midst of their mating season and Colorado Parks and Wildlife is reminding residents to take precautions to avoid conflicts.
“Buck deer can be aggressive and lose their usual wariness of people at this time of year,”
 said Patt Dorsey, southwest regional manager for Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Steve will have Thanksgiving dinner over at Doc’s and Mrs. Doc’s this year, and any number of his friends are grateful for that. Steve is one heckuva cowboy and trainer of young colts, and a good friend to all, but he’d never make it as a dinner host.

Bart Michael was given a welcoming letter to the Eads Chamber of Commerce from Chamber President Dennis Pearson and Vice President John Courkamp. 

The Chamber welcomes Bart’s new Michael’s Auto and Diesel Service Center new business on Wanstead Street across the street to the south of Hometown Gas and Grill. 

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) and the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) are seeking applicants for agricultural energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. The total amount available for assistance in fiscal year 2018 is $350,000. The funding is available to Colorado agricultural irrigators, dairies, greenhouses, nurseries, and cold storage facilities.
