Jumbo Reservoir is closed to trailered, motorized boating until April 24.
“CPW is always interested in helping recreationists get out and enjoy the outdoors,” said Todd Schmidt, area wildlife manager from Brush. “However the safety and health of water will always be our top concern and must be addressed to continue recreation opportunities.”
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is working closely with the Julesburg Irrigation District and will reopen with ANS inspectors at Jumbo on Monday, April 24. The hours for inspections will be:
--Friday to Monday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
9:00 a.m. 1st Session Field Events: (4 attempts each athlete) (Girls Discus, Boys Shot Put, Girls High Jump, Girls Long Jump-North, Boys Long Jump-South.)
The following field events will begin following the completion of the 1st session of field events. They may run through the lunch break.
2nd Session field events (4 attempts each athlete)
