Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper announced that Larry Wolk, MD, the state’s chief medical officer and executive director of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is resigning. Wolk has accepted the role of chief medical officer with the Wonderful Company, based in Santa Monica, California.

Colorado landowners who want to protect environmentally valuable private forest areas that could someday be threatened by development or conversion to other non-forest uses – and who desire to receive monetary compensation in the process – now have the opportunity to submit proposals to protect their forestlands.
The Kiowa County Commissioner's regular meeting was called to order on July 12, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. Scott opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance:
