Man Dies at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort
23-year-old man died in skiing accident
Shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Boulder County agencies responded to the Eldora Mountain Resort for a report of an injured skier, who was unconscious and not breathing.
Members with the Eldora Mountain Resort Ski Patrol had received a report of an injured skier on the Mule Shoe run, which is a black diamond run, who crashed and then hit a tree. Once on scene, the Ski Patrol found a 23-year-old male unconscious and not breathing. CPR was immediately started.

Misprint on Colorado Driver Licenses and Identification Cards
The Division of Motor Vehicles discovered a minor vendor production error which resulted in the listed height to be misprinted on driver licenses and identification cards renewed online between February 20, 2017 and March 6, 2017.
The issue has been resolved and replacement cards are being mailed to impacted customers at no charge no later than March 10, 2017. A letter explaining the error will be included with the card.
As a result, there is no need for customers to visit a driver license office to obtain their replacement cards.

Fire in Logan County Burns Three Homes, 30,000 Acres
More than 70 Colorado firefighters from 13 fire departments continue to fight a 30,000-plus acre grass fire in northeastern Logan County. Officials have confirmed that there were four structures lost, including three homes.
A 9-1-1 call was received at 11:30 a.m. reporting a fire east of Sterling in the Proctor area. The fire was heading east-northeast, and jumped Interstate-76 before spreading into Phillips County. A portion of I-76 was closed due to poor visibility from smoke as well as blowing dirt, but has reopened. Local road closures are in place.
