High-Altitude Survival
By Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Hunters must remember that altitude can affect their health and their ability to move easily. And in the Rockies, weather can change quickly with fast-moving storms dumping a couple of feet of snow in just a few hours.

Weekend Weather Outlook – Chances of Rain Continue
By Chris Sorensen
With monsoon moisture remaining in the area thunderstorms are likely Friday afternoon and, though the chances are greatly reduced, the possibility for afternoon and evening storms is expected to continue through at least Tuesday.
While less than one-tenth inch of precipitation is expected overall, amounts could be significantly higher where thunderstorms do occur this week.
Storms Friday may be strongest near the Kansas border. Watch for cloud-to-ground lightning, wind gusts to 40 miles per hour, brief heavy rain and possibly small hail.
