A PROCLAMATION
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” I learned that scripture from the late Betty Shotton and how this scripture can bring powerful changes to one’s life.
While parts of western Colorado are seeing snow and winter storm warnings, the eastern plains will be under a range of temperatures – from 40s to 60s, and even potential low 70s around Trinidad.
Most of the northeastern plains will remain cloudy throughout Sunday, with some areas seeing light rain through the morning. While the Sterling area will see temperatures in the mid-40s, Limon, Eads and Lamar will be in the 50s, while La Junta, Springfield and Kim will be in the 60s.
Overnight Sunday, low clouds and areas of fog are expected.
Old Jasper Blankenship bought a deer license again this year, just as he’s done every year since Eisenhower was President. He sticks nickels and dimes in a jar all year long and smiles each time he contributes. By Fall, he’s saved up enough for a deer tag.
Jasper lives full-time out at the diggin’s with his dog, Arthur, of course, so he has only to walk about 100 feet from the cabin to do his hunting. That’s one of the marvels of it.

Medicare’s annual Open Enrollment period is a good time to review your current coverage and decide if there may be a better fit based on changes to current plans, your budget or health needs.
