William Todd Benson was born in Germany July 5, 1970. 

Todd visited several other countries and locations within the United States throughout his life, with his walk with God coming to an end Monday evening, April 13, 2020. Todd no longer walks with the Lord, for he is dancing with Him forever more.

June 4, 1947 – April 12, 2020

A memorial service for lifelong Lamar resident Larry J. Lusher will be held at a later date.

Per Larry’s request cremation will take place.

Larry was born June 4, 1947, at Lamar to Philip J. and Jewel Alene (McCall) Lusher, and passed away April 12, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs with his family by his side.

Update from Kiowa County Public Library

The Kiowa County Public Library District (KCPLD) will remain closed to the public for the duration of the “Stay-at-Home” order set forth by Governor Polis on March 25, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, social distancing has become a necessary measure to help stop the spread of the disease. The Kiowa County Commissioner’s Regular meeting was called to order on March 26, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. Robertson opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance:

Robertson moved and Oswald seconded the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
