It happened when two unfamiliar truck drivers came in the Mule Barn and took seats at the Round Table. Not that we wouldn’t have invited them to sit down, if they’d asked. Hey, we’re friendly guys.

Usually we’re at the counter … you know … the Philosophy Counter. But this morning, due to nasty weather, the numbers of the world dilemma think tank experienced some overflow. But there were still two seats left at the Round Table until those truckers came in and flipped over their coffee mugs.

Colorado wheat farmers are invited to attend and participate in the annual county business meetings and elections jointly sponsored by the Colorado Wheat Administrative Committee, the Colorado Association of Wheat Growers and the Colorado Wheat Research Foundation. RESOLUTION TO SET MILL LEVIES

A RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2019, TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE KIOWA COUNTY, COLORADO FOR THE 2020 BUDGET YEAR. 

WHEREAS, the County has adopted the annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law, on November 26, 2019 and; 

WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general operating purposes from property tax revenue is $1,863,682 and;
