Notice is hereby given that:  A proposed budget has been submitted to the Kiowa County Public Library District Board of Trustees for the ensuing year of 2020; a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of the Kiowa County Public Library, where same is open for public inspection; such proposed budget will be considered at the regular meeting of the Kiowa County Public Library District Board of Trustees to be held in the Kiowa County Public Library on 

• The Kiowa County Courthouse, Social Services and Public Health WILL BE CLOSED NOVEMBER 28TH & 29TH IN OBESERVANCE OF THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

The Regular meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order on November 14, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. Oswald opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance:

Oswald moved and Robertson seconded the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.

Eleanor Jean “Jeannie” Strong

April 1, 1949 – November 23, 2019

A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Eads resident, formerly of Wiley, Eleanor Jean Strong, affectionately known to her family and friends as Jeannie, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019, at the Peacock Family funeral home. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
