Annual healing run beginning at the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site is set for November 28.

• Plainview School Carnival-Friday, Nov 15, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. There will be a soup supper from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Dinner includes a bowl of soup, a drink and a dessert for $7, and for $2 extra bowl of soup. Bring the kids and come enjoy all the fun activities

A number of ladies attended the October 2019 monthly meeting of the Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary meeting at JJ’s Restaurant meeting room. 

Alice Glover called the meeting to order. Doris Lessenden reported that the gold plate for Margaret Frazee will be sent from the engravers soon for Shannon Dixon to place in the lobby’s memorial glass display. We remind readers that when family and/or friends donate $100 in a person’s name to the Auxiliary, we have a metal gold plate engraved in their honor.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed two District Court Judges in the First Judicial District.

Two judges have been appointed in Colorado's Second Judicial District by Governor Jared Polis.

The Regular meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order by Chairman, Richard Scott on October 24, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Robertson opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in Attendance:
