A graveside celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Margit G. Parker, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday June 5, 2020, at the Eads Cemetery with Pastor Paul Floyd of High Plains Fellowship officiating.

Per Margit’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

Alma Jane “Janie” Lewis

June 27, 1930 – May 28, 2020

Alma Jane “Janie” Lewis, 89, passed away peacefully May 28, 2020, in Broomfield. Alma was born June 27, 1930, in La Junta to John and Erma (Howell) Inskeep.

Alma married Charlie Lewis in March of 1993. Alma loved all animals. She raised her own goats, and took great care of them. She also loved taking care of her horses and dogs. She was an avid bowler and was on several leagues throughout her life.

The federal government and states have fueled an unregulated, chaotic market for masks ruled by oddballs, ganjapreneurs and a shadowy network of investors.

At a time when public-spirited Coloradans should be rallying together to help our state’s businesses get back into high gear, “progressive” Democrats at the State Capitol are instead practicing opportunism at its worst by slapping a fresh coat of paint on their pre-COVID agenda.
