County Line Rivals return to the mats in Lamar
The County Line Rivals returned to the mats this weekend after and long and restful Christmas break. The team traveled down the road a few miles to Lamar. Being down a few kids to injuries hindered the team score for the Rivals, as they earned into 4thplace with 107 points behind Crowley County, Yuma, and Lamar. The home team ran away with the 1st place trophy with 278 points.

The United States has hurled its first airstrikes in nearly a decade against Iran-backed militia forces in Iraq and Syria. Kiowa County weather outlook – week of January 12, 2020
Monday and Tuesday are looking really good, with sunshine and high temperatures up to 55 degrees, but the nights will be cold, with lows going down to around 15.
Wednesday through Friday is looking quiet, with fair to partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
There is nothing major showing up in our forecast from January 18-25, with highs continuing in the upper 40s to low 50s, and then dropping to 18 to 20 degrees at night.
