A major wave of consolidation that kicked off in 2016 continues to move forward with the U.S. Department of Justice allowing chemical producer Bayer to acquire the U.S. based seed company Monsanto, reported on April 9.
The Eads Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the annual Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards. Nominations may be anonymous, but must be in written form.
The nomination letters must be returned no later than May 1, 2018 to Eads Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 163, Eads, CO 81036.
The presentation of the awards will take place during the Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation (KCEDF) annual dinner meeting that will be held later this spring at a date and time to be announced later.
