Fire Truck Involved in Rollover Crash on Highway 96

October 2, 2016 at approximately 1:52 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol was notified of single vehicle rollover crash on Hwy 96 at mile post 190 in Kiowa County involving a Kiowa County Fire truck. The crash location was approximately 3 miles west of Sheridan Lake.

The 1980 Chevrolet pickup that was converted into a fire truck for Kiowa County Fire was responding to a rollover semi crash at 1:42 p.m. involving two semitrucks that were eastbound on Hwy 96 at mile post 176, also in Kiowa County.

Doc, being the senior member of the Mule Barn truck stop’s world dilemma think tank, looked kindly at Dud. “Well, haven’t you been reading what each candidate stands for, Dud?”

Dud shrugged. “Sure. But I firmly believe they only tell you what you want to hear. They’re the best, and the other fella is going to take you straight to ruined aspirations.”
