Colorado taxpayers will get an extension in the state income tax filing deadline because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Governor Jared Polis announced at a Friday news conference that he was extending the deadline 90 days until July 15, “without penalty, without interest.”
“That includes all filers, small businesses, all individuals – all filers,” he said.
“Colorado has 2.5 million taxpayers including individuals and businesses and we hope this gives them one less thing to worry about in the midst of this crisis,” Polis added.
Jeffrey "Jeff" F. LeFlore

Mr. LeFlore passed away at the Keefe Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne Wells.
Out of an abundance of caution and consideration for the health of our friends and neighbors, the LeFlore family would like everyone to know that Jeff's body will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Cheyenne Wells for immediate family members only.
In an effort to slow the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community, Kiowa County government will be closing public access to buildings. Staff will be providing limited essential services via phone and online avenues. In-person contact for receiving essential services will have limited restrictions during this time. These adjustments to county services and public access will be in place until a further notice. These precautions will be continually evaluated and may be subject to change.
