Water managers from throughout the Colorado River Basin took the stage at the Colorado River Water Users Association conference earlier this month to talk about conserving water in the face of the twin threats to the river: increasing demand and climate change.

Colorado AgrAbility Program workshops set across the state

Workshops have been scheduled across Colorado to promote agriculture independence for people with functional limitations, such as long-term illness, permanent injury, or aging.

The Colorado AgrAbility Project promotes “success in agriculture for people with disabilities or other physical challenges, and their families,” and is part of a national network of programs under the United States Department of Agriculture that began with the 1990 Farm Bill.
