A six-hour training session for child care providers is being sponsored by the Cheyenne-Kiowa-Lincoln Early Childhood Council in mid-April.
CKLECC provides training and support to child care provider across the three counties and throughout the region. The council focuses on family support and education, health and well-being, as well as learning and development.
Each year, Lamar Community College seeks to recognize alumni for their accomplishments. To do so, LCC is currently accepting nominations for its 2018 Alumnus/Alumna of the Year.
For the second year, members of the Northeast Colorado Manufacturing Partnership are organizing a day of speakers and breakout sessions to help manufacturers build their businesses.

The March 30 drawing will be held at 9:00 p.m. mountain time. Tickets, which cost $2, must be purchased by 7:30 p.m. in order to have a chance at the half-billion dollar prize.
Spinney Mountain State Park will open to shore fishermen and boats Sunday, April 1, providing anglers with one of their coveted annual spring fishing rites. The opening will officially mark the beginning of the 2018 Spinney Mountain Reservoir fishing season.
