Charles "Charlie" Weber

November 06, 1940 - August 09, 2018

Charlie was a resident of Lamar and a retired longtime livestock brand inspector with the state of Colorado.  Mr. Weber passed away at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo.

Incoming Lamar Community College students from Baca, Bent, Cheyenne, Kiowa, and Prowers counties can now take advantage of an extended deadline to earn scholarship funds for the upcoming fall semester.  The deadline for the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) scholarship has been extended to August 20. 

COSI scholarship recipient can receive up to $1,000 per semester.

Emergency Medical Technician – Basic certificate offered this fall at Lamar Community College

The Lamar Community College Foundation recently secured $10,000 in funds from the Robert H. Rawlings Foundation to maintain scholarships for Emergency Medical Services students for the upcoming academic year.  These scholarships can help individuals interested in completing the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic certificate this fall.
