A Special Thank You

The residents of Eads have often seen this gentleman out in his motorized wheelchair, scooping up dirt and placing in potholes in the street. He does this because he has pride in the community not for any special recognition. I have seen him out when most of us take to the comfort of our homes when what we call the extreme elements – heat – cold or wind, there he is completing the task he started out to do.

Southeast Health Group welcomes Dr. K.S. Young, D.O.

Dr. K.S. Young, D.O. joined the primary care team at Southeast Health Group this fall, relocating from his most recent temporary assignment in Oklahoma.  “I have been a traveling doctor for almost three decades, licensed in eight different states, and worked all over the country.  I’ve seen a lot of different things and had a lot of different experiences,” said Young.  “My wife and I like being near the mountains, and we were impressed that southeast Colorado had so much going for it and the people were so friendly.”

Bluetooth.  Described by someone in cyberspace as “a telecommunications industry specification that describes how mobile phones, computers and personal data assistants (PDAs) can be easily interconnected using a short-range wireless connection.  Described by me as “one of the seven wonders of the world”, right behind tweezers, Amazon.com, facial moisturizer, the Grand Canyon, new haircuts, cars that park themselves,  and sock monkeys.
