election will be held on the 3rd day

      How about that Bronco game on Sunday?  They came to play didn't they?  Their defense was amazing and the whole team stepped up whenever they needed to.  They kept Brady off balance most of the game.  Looking forward to the Super Bowl - GO BRONCOS!!

     Last Saturday, Layton Hopkins and the boys from his class at school celebrated his 7th birthday at the Bowling Alley in Tribune. Happy Birthday Layton!

Strasburg Tournament

Results from the Strasburg Tournament are as follows:

145 pounds – Seth Splitter won by pin over Nathan Foos from Burlington in 1:13; won by pin over Patrick Roth from Byers in 1:05; won by pin over Dylan Holeman from Merino in 1:47; and lost by decision in overtime to Toby Grinnan from Burlington, 7-9.  Splitter finished the tournament in 2^nd place.

Dominic Hernandez is recovering from having major heart surgery.  Although he is rather pale, he is healing each day and glad to be with his family.

Yellow and green balloon festooned little Brantley McCracken’s yard Saturday as the guests came to enjoy his third birthday party.   He likes tractors and big toys which he plays with in his backyard.   He even had a cute “tractor” cake that was designed and decorated by his daddy, A.J.   His mother, Ciarra, took care of other details for a fun party for little ones and family.

• The LCC Cosmetology Salon will re-open its doors to the public for the spring semester on Tuesday, January 26.  The salon’s hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00-5:00pm.  The LCC Cosmetology Salon is located in the lower level of the Trustees Building.  No appointment is necessary.  For more information or a full list of services, visit http://www.lamarcc.edu/cosmetology or call 719.336.4408.
