The U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation Thursday that would make the site of a World War II Japanese internment camp in southeastern Colorado a National Historic Site.

The regular meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order on July 15, 2021; at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman, Donald Oswald. Robertson opened the meeting with Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

Nebraska’s budget surplus is particularly good news for the state’s farmers, Mark McHargue, Nebraska Farm Bureau president, said.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis urged the U.S. Senate to pass a $1.2 trillion federal infrastructure package in a statement Wednesday.
