Steve Poet is an agricultural education teacher at the High Plains High School in Seibert. Although he has been working with kids for 20 years, this will be his fifth year at High Plains High School. He is the kind of invested teacher that all students hope to have when entering a high school ag program. Poet grew up in a rural setting himself, and with years of experience he has developed quite the green thumb.

Merril "Bud" A. Lowe

June 17, 1924 - February 6, 2021

 Merril Archie 'Bud' Lowe, age 96, passed away peacefully February 6, 2021, in Eads surrounded by his loving family. He lived a long, rewarding and honorable life that will surely leave a lasting impact for generations to come. His legacy will never be forgotten.

Eads School will be conducting Child Find screenings on Thursday March 11, 2021, in the Multipurpose Room at the Eads High School building starting at 9:00 a.m.

Child Find is a series of free screenings to evaluate the vision, hearing, and language development, as well as the physical and cognitive skills of children from birth to five years of age.
