RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS BOARD MEETING June 23, 2020

The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on June 23, 2020 at

6:31 p.m. at the Cobblestone Inn Meeting Room and also via Zoom. At this time, individuals can

attend the meeting via Zoom or in person.

District Board members present were: Mary Eikner, Sylvia Shields, Cathryn Anderson and Priscilla Waggoner. Absent: Meghan Buck (called).

(The Center Square) – Former Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, a Democrat, Monday announced his support for a ballot measure to reintroduce gray wolves in the state.

Voters will decide on the Colorado Gray Wolf Reintroduction Initiative in November. If approved, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission would be obligated to establish a plan for gray wolf population reintroduction and management.

An initiative to cut Colorado's state income tax rate will appear on November's ballot.
