The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on November 24, 2020 at 6:31 p.m. via Zoom.
District Board members present were: Mary Eikner, Sylvia Shields, and Meghan Buck. Absent: Cathryn Anderson (called).
County Board members present were: Ken Flory, Craig Kerfoot, Kevin Davis, Claire Prince and Dale Back.
Others present: Shannon Dixon, Char Korrell, Ellen Lane, Jessica Hyman, Renay Crain, and Beth
The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) on Tuesday issued a warning encouraging residents to be aware of "suspicious, potentially fraudulent activity" related to COVID-19 vaccinations.

Kiowa county is currently at 10%, up from 0% last week. Our goal is to keep this less than five percent.
Harvey Hollis
December 7, 1917 – February 12, 2021
Harvey Hollis passed away February 12, 2021 at the Weisbrod Extended Care Unit in Eads at the age of 103. Harvey was born December 7, 1917 in Prowers County.
Visitation will be held at the Brown Funeral Home in Eads Friday, February 19, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Mr. Hollis will be laid to rest in the Eads Cemetery with a private committal service.
