The regular meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order on April 29, 2021; at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Donald Oswald. Robertson opened the meeting with a prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance:

Minutes: Robertson moved and Lening seconded the motion to approve the April 15, 2021 minutes as presented. Motion carried.

Paula L. McMains

August 25, 1949 – May 10, 2021

A private family memorial service for longtime Eads resident Paula L. McMains will be held at a later date. 

Per Paula’s request cremation will take place. 

Paula was born August 25, 1949, at Kremmling to Paul Arthur and Jean (Ross) McMains, and passed away May 10, 2021, at her home in Eads with her family by her side at the age of 71. 

She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Colorado Governor Jared Polis announced on Friday that fully vaccinated people are no longer required to wear face masks in public.

The USDA will contact nearly 6,000 producers across the Mountain Region states of Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming to determine crop acreage and stock levels.
