Pansy Foxworthy

June 1, 1916 – October 12, 2019

Funeral Services for Pansy Foxworthy will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the First Christian Church in Eads beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Eads Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Leland R. Stoker

May 30, 1937 - 2019

Leland Ray Stoker was born to Raymond and Ethel Stoker May 30, 1937, in Las Animas and raised in Haswell. Leland had two brothers and two sisters.

He met his wife of 57 years after a basketball game in 1958, and in August of 1959 they were married. Leland and Donna had three children, Mark, Aaron, and Cindy.

Colorado’s attorney general and secretary of state on Wednesday said the state is petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to take up a “faithless elector” case and overturn a lower court decision.
