The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on November 28. 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bransgrove Building Meeting Room.
District Board members present were: Mary Eikner, Sylvia Shields, Cathryn Anderson, Priscilla Waggoner, and Robert Woods.
The Kiowa County Reorganizational meeting was called to order at 9:08 a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. Oswald opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in Attendance:

Oswald moved and McLoud seconded the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Several Colorado students are among the 1,607 named by Fort Hays State University, in Hays, Kansas, to the Deans Honor Roll for the fall 2017 semester.
The Deans Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and earned a minimum grade point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and FHSU Virtual College students are eligible.
This tax season, Lamar Community College is partnering with Denver-based Piton Foundation to help hard-working families become more financially secure by providing free tax preparation services through the Tax Help Colorado program. Beginning February 2, 2018, IRS-certified LCC students will prepare and file tax returns free of charge for individuals with household incomes of less than about $54,000 a year.
