Very slowly, Herb Collins stood with his cup of coffee there in the midst of culture and education at the Mule Barn truck stop.
“Actually, Steve,” Herb said, in his most professorial tone, “his name was Kaldi. He lived in Ethiopia.”
And here Herb grinned fiendlishly at Steve. “And he was a sheepherder!”
“No way, Herb!”
Lucille Marie Sorensen Ansley

Lucille was born south of Karval in Adobe Valley on her family farm. Lucille was the fifth of six children born to Carl and Lela Sorensen November 9, 1930.
June 22, 1950, she married David Ansley of Haswell, where they lived for just 2 days short of 68 years. To this union three girls were born, Debra Lucille, Brenda Lee and Linda Jane.
Lucille passed on June 20, 2018, at the Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs.

Off-farm barley stocks totaled 3,000. Other Arizona grain stocks were not published separately to avoid disclosing data for individual operations.
