Mailing in Your Ballots? Postal Service Offers up Helpful Advice

Ballots must be received by election officials by November 8 to count

The 2016 General Election is underway with ballots arriving in mailboxes across Colorado this week.

There are a number of ways to return your ballot including drop-off boxes and in-person at County clerk offices.

A convenient option for ballot return is to mail it back using the provided preaddressed envelope. This method is safe, secure and effective.

All completed ballots require postage, and in some instances extra postage because of the weight.

USPS Urges Voters to Watch for Ballots in the Mail

Ballots must be received by election officials by November 8 to count

The United States Postal Service is alerting all registered voters to watch their mailboxes this week for mail-in ballots for the 2016 General Election.

This week, election officials began the process of depositing some of the more than three million ballots destined for Colorado registered voters.
