Southeast Colorado Fishing Conditions – November 1
Arkansas River Headwaters October in the upper Arkansas River valley was about as beautiful and benign as it can be, with above average temperatures and no significant weather. As a result, post-spawn browns have been dispersing back out into fall feeding habitat rather than congregating in the deep, slow winter water. With high temperatures for the first two weeks of November forecasted to be in the upper 60's, expect continued warm water and actively feeding fish.
A Day in the Life

Laundry. Described by Google as “the washing of clothes and linens, a process which is usually done in a room reserved for that purpose.” Described by me as “one of the most invigorating, enjoyable chores known to womankind, but possibly some men, or even kids who are old enough to manhandle the washing machine.”
