The Regular Meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order on September 10, 2019 at 9:07 a.m. by Chairman, Richard Scott. Donald Oswald opened the meeting with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance were:

Howard “Butch” Robertson, Commissioner
Tina Adamson, County Administrator
Oswald moved and Robertson seconded the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis ordered the United States and Colorado flags be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings from sunrise to sunset Saturday, October 5, 2019, to honor former Colorado legislator Leo Lucero.
Lucero served in the legislature for 14 years. He passed September 24.
Funeral services are being held Saturday in Pueblo
