The County Line Rivals had an outstanding weekend as they wrestled in Wiley Friday night for a Dual with Fowler, Boys Ranch, and Limon; and finished up in Holly for the Christmas Tournament against eight other teams getting a first place finish.  The Rivals scored 128.5 points to reach the top and Boys Ranch finished with 117.5 for second place.  

Lamar Community College’s fall semester has officially come to an end and the holidays are near.  The LCC campus will be closed December 25 through January 2, 2019, so that faculty and staff can spend time with their families.

Certain departments on campus will have additional closures including the Library, The Study (LCC’s tutoring center), and Fitness Center.

The Library and The Study closed at the end of the finals week and will reopen again January 7.

The Regular Kiowa County Commissioner's Meeting was called to order by Chairman, Richard Scott on November 29, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Scott opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in Attendance:

I didn't write an article this week.  Everyone was at the Christmas basketball tournament on Friday and Saturday and at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church for the Christmas program Sunday. So, that seems to sum up what most everyone was doing this week. I probably won't write again until after the new year.
