Jensen Named to 2018 Spring Semester Dean's List at Luther College

Tre Jensen, Luther College junior of Granada, has been named to the 2018 spring semester Dean's List. 

Luther College's spring 2018 Dean's List includes 731 students; 96 first-years, 135 sophomores, 183 juniors and 317 seniors. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).

Gardner Calls for Halt to Separating Immigrant Families

Colorado Senator Cory Gardner joined 11 of his colleagues Tuesday in sending a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions calling on the Administration to halt current policies leading to the forced separation of minor children from their parents, who are illegally entering the United States, and to allow Congress to fix the issue through legislation.

Colorado Crop Progress and Condition Summary – Week Ending June 17, 2018

Soil moisture supplies diminished due to very hot and dry conditions last week, although beneficial weekend moisture was received in several areas, according to the Mountain Region Field Office of the National Agricultural Statistics Service, USDA. 

Reporters in northeastern counties noted crops and livestock in areas that received moisture were doing well. A reporter noted dryland crop and rangeland conditions remained a concern for producers in areas that were drier. A reporter also noted some irrigated corn stands were uneven due to earlier dry field conditions.
