CDOT joins transportation departments across the country supporting the awareness message and hosting events to honor those lost with a ceremony at CDOT’s headquarters April 12.
The IRS is coming – eventually – for the money in your 401(K) or Traditional IRA.
As a result, people who think they have $500,000 or $1 million stashed away for retirement will learn they have less than they realized once they start withdrawing the money and have to pay taxes on those withdrawals.
“It’s not enough to simply save money and grow an IRA and 401(K),” says Troy Bender, president and CEO of Asset Retention Services Inc.
Romans 12:15 “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.”
That Romans verse reminds me that it seems that grief is more painful in weeks that follow death. I suppose because one realizes that it really is real. Thank you, to the people who have continued to send cards or speak greetings of comfort following Bonnie’s death. We do appreciate the kindness of our friends.
As a young person I did my share of camping. In fact, it was one of my favorite activities. I would stuff everything I needed into a backpack, hike to a spot, toss up a tent and camp.
Sometimes I would sleep in the back of my truck. I even rode my horse into the backcountry and slept under the stars. Of course, I was young, and my body was nimble and it recovered quickly. Today, as a “mature” adult, my ideas of camping have changed a little.
