Thunderstorms produce some of the most dangerous weather on Earth, Including tornadoes, flash floods, Large hail, and destructive straight-line winds. However, the most dangerous aspect of thunderstorms in Colorado is lightning.
Lightning usually kills and injures more people in Colorado than any other thunderstorm hazard. In 2015 there was one documented fatality and 23 lightning strike survivors in Colorado, some with serious to critical injuries.

“Without a doubt, Baca County has no problem putting on the work gloves and doing whatever it takes to get the job done,” said CPW District Wildlife Manager Aaron Bartleson, following the award presentation in Keystone, Colo., Thursday.
