Weekend Weather Outlook: Warm Friday, Cooler Next Week

Although earlier forecasts had a potential for snow Friday, an above-normal high near 60 eliminates that possibility. Overnight Thursday, an upper level ridge of high pressure kept skies clear with minimal wind in most areas.
Saturday’s high will reach into the upper 30s under partly sunny skies before falling to the mid-teens overnight.

Kiowa County Commissions Meeting Minutes – November 15
The regular Kiowa County Commissioners meeting was called to order on November 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. Oswald opened the meeting with prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance:

December 25, a truck went through the front of the building. It appears the driver fell asleep at the wheel however, the official determination has not been released at this time. No one was in the office at the time of the accident and the driver of the truck is okay.
