Foot of Snow Coming to Parts of Southeast Colorado

Predicted snow accumulation across southeast Colorado continued to increase throughout Friday, with a large portion of southern Colorado now expecting a foot or more of snow.
A winter storm warning is in place for portions of the area now, and will be in effect across the entire region by the early morning hours of Saturday.
Evangelist Jason Runnels Returns to Eads
Singer, songwriter and evangelist Jason Runnels will be holding revival meetings at the Praise Community Church beginning Sunday, May 7.
Runnels has been singing southern and country gospel professionally for over 30 years. He is most well-known for his years singing tenor with “Tony Gore & Majesty” and “The Down East Boys.”
7 Tips to Care for Snow-Damaged Trees
Residents of the Front Range corridor and eastern Colorado may be dealing with snow-damaged trees after tonight and tomorrow’s snowstorm, and may soon be considering actions to protect and repair them. Keith Wood, community forestry program manager for the Colorado State Forest Service, said that although the first impulse may be to start sawing when a tree is damaged, homeowners should first assess the situation to avoid hurting themselves or further damaging the tree.
CDOT Preparing for Spring Storm
Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews are on or set to go on snow- shift this afternoon and evening as the latest spring storm begins moving into the state.
All Southeast Colorado Upgraded to Storm Warning
