For most of us, the new year marks a time for reflection and growth — not the beginning of a series of penalties levied because of a DUI arrest. From December 30 through January 3, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Colorado State Patrol (CSP) and local law enforcement agencies will increase DUI enforcement to arrest impaired drivers during New Year’s celebrations. This year, 107 agencies statewide will participate in the crackdown.

Garett Walker of Sheridan Lake, Colorado, has been named to the Dean's Honor at Kansas Wesleyan University for the 2016 fall semester. One hundred and seventy-nine Kansas Wesleyan University students were named to the Dean's Honor Roll for the Fall 2016 semester. Full-time students with a semester grade point average of 3.25-3.74 and no incompletes are listed on the Dean's Honor Roll at the end of each semester.
