    Thirty six (36) Eads High School students and their advisor, Mr. Will Nelson, hosted their annual Dinner and Farmhand Worker Dinner Friday evening for nearly 250 people.

Information from CHSAA  on this weekend’s regional tournament at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.  The Eads girls will take on Antonito at 5:40 pm on Friday

• Ladies Retreat on April 1&2 at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church.
• Senior Citizen dinner at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church on March 7th at noon.  RSVP to Amy at 727-5401

Congratulations to the Plainview Knowledge Bowl team. They took second place in class 1-A at the regional tournament in Lamar Friday. This qualifies them for the state tournament.

March 7, 1991

A dust storm blew into Kiowa County Tuesday as temperatures climbed into the 70s and a brisk wind sprang up. The highway from Lamar to Springfield reported as being closed.
