An employee of the Spring Creek Youth Services Center in Colorado Springs has been arrested on the charge of assault in the second degree, a class four felony, and child abuse, a class one misdemeanor. That employee, Dean Hawkinson, has been placed on administrative leave.
Bent's Fort Chapter
The February 11th meeting of the Bent's Fort Chapter will also include the chapter's popular "book exchange". Everyone is invited to bring books that he would like to lend, give away, or recommend. Tables will be set up in the main meeting room to display the books. Anyone who loans books is responsible for keeping track of them. Lil has won numerous awards for her paintings throughout Colorado. She says she inherited the talent from her mother. In turn, Lil has passed that talent to her daughters.

Nonprofits Benefit From Program That Promotes Voluntary Donations on State Tax Form
U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC) is voluntarily recalling certain of its smokeless tobacco products, listed in the chart below, manufactured at USSTC’s facility in Franklin Park, IL. USSTC has notified the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of the recall and is working with federal authorities on this matter.
Home Town Gas and Grill in Eads has pulled all affected products from its shelves. Replacement stock for the affected products will not be in for a week, however unaffected products remain available for sale.
