November 26, 1997 – September 21, 2018
Seth Graham Splitter died unexpectedly in Elk Mound, Wisconsin.
He is the son of David and Dennill Splitter.
Funeral arrangements are pending. Services are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary meeting notes
Ladies of the Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary met September 11 for their monthly meeting and lunch. Alice Glover presided over the meeting where Doris Lessenden read the minutes and Loretta Seibel gave the Treasurer’s Report. The donation to the Auxiliary in memory of George Temple from a local lady is very much appreciated. A reminder to families and friends: when $100 is given in memory of a person, their name will be engraved on gold plate and mounted on the large wall plaque in the hospital entryway.

‘Exceptional’ drought expands in western Colorado; northeast sees dry conditions increase
A week after drought had stabilized in Colorado, conditions degraded dramatically, particularly for the western half of the state.
Mesa and Delta counites, along with northwest Gunnison County, saw extreme drought replaced by exceptional drought – the worst category – as hot and dry conditions persisted in the area.
